We had a relatively relaxed day at sea. Our first activity was a tour of the ship’s kitchen at 10:30. It was basically a walk through but very interesting. There are 120 cooks and 30 support staff to create the 12000 daily meals! Now we know where it all comes from!
We met up with Virginia after her belly dance class and then reunited with Javi. We had to drop off our passports again for the ship to do the Greek and Turkish immigration process. There was a Spanish woman ahead of us who didn’t even know that we were going to Turkey before the final stop in Istanbul! It’s a good thing the ship has us and the two guys from Madrid to raise the Spanish flag because without us…..haha!
Oh Carlos and I also learned that everything we eat is bad – UNFAVOURABLE – through the healthy eating seminar in the fitness centre. It was a bit of a waste of 40 minutes but it made for some fun in the corridors every time we passed a pair from Nevada and we just started shouting out FAVOURABLE or UNFAVOURABLE!
What else….not much. Just general relaxation and navigation merriment! Out by the pool we were chatting with Fran and Ian and we discovered that during the first day at sea Ian lost his room card in the pool – and we found it! Out of all the people on the boat! We just didn’t realise it was his since we didn’t know his last name! Too funny!
It was another formal night so we dolled up and feasted on filet mignon! Yum!
It was also the night of the full moon, which is always exciting!
