There is truly something special about Angkor Wat. Our first glimpse of the vast temple complex came at sunset and it did not disappoint. With the golden hues reflecting on the stone structures, it is easy to feel transported back to a simpler time. Even today it is hard to put into words the aura and experience of Angkor. Truly something special.
