The Mekong Delta is a vast area covering almost 40,000 square kilometres. While the Mekong River is wide and flowing, there are also small streams and waterways to be explored by sampan. They are paddled by hand and evoke a feeling a exploration and adventure. As with everyone we encountered in Vietnam, this woman greeted us with a welcoming smile and hello.
