We happened upon Banteay Samré late in the day and were enthralled with its raised structures and intricate work. The diversity of the temples is one of the things that amazed us most about the Angkor area. We had often heard of “Temple Fatigue” but truly each temple had its own style, mystery, and atmosphere. The Temple of Banteay Samré should definitely be on everyone’s list while visiting Angkor!
